We are planning to spend holidays somewhere in Cherating (Pahang) or maybe in Kuala Terengganu or Marang. His big brother, Adam Harith will join us for the birthday celebration. It’s been nearly a year Ahmad Iqbal haven’t his big brother, due to my new job hectic life as an architect.
Even I’m busy, I’m trying my best to spend my time especially weekend to guide and teach Ahmad Iqbal on many aspects. Lucky me, he is a fast learner and can catch up easily what has been taught. I believe this is all related to his full breast feeding and extra food taken.
Me and my wife are so lucky because we save a lot of money because of the full breast feed. I still remember during bad days couple months ago, when my business dropped. During that moment Ahmad Iqbal still an infant. Otherwise, we have to get infant formula brands like his cousin. His cousin, Nurul Syuhadah fully depends on the infant formula as she can’t accept her mum’s milk. Besides, her mum is working.
Nurul Syuhadah family categorized as medium low income. They can’t simply buy expensive baby formula milk. Her dad always tries to get best baby formulas but comes with discount baby formula. I always remind him not simply buy random feeding baby formula just because they are cheap. He must check the status of the baby food formula , either they are nutritionally complete and meets the nutritional guidelines determined by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or Malaysian Standard.
When I have this thought, I’m still lucky because I don’t have to get any baby formulas milk or even a hypoallergenic baby formula for Ahmad Iqbal. He grow well even he had a complication when born.
Thanks God for giving my wife healthy breast that keep producing milk until now.

ReplyDeleteI've found Pampers Swaddlers to be the best "newborn" diaper. Once my children got to size 2 diapers we went to the Pampers Baby Dry diapers. We tried both Huggies and Luvs, both were awful and leaked a lot for our children.
ReplyDeletediaper i use huggies natural fit, they are my fave over all. and formula i use enfamil lipil, in studies they have shown babies on enfamil score better on vision tests than babies on other brands. and also better brain development. baby food i use gerber, i sometime make my own but i get busy in the week

ReplyDeleteIf your baby cries for more and you feed her, then you are doing the right thing. She knows when she is still hungry and doesn't have the problems as adults do with knowing when they are hungry and when they are eating for comfort

ReplyDeleteI only give my son 4 oz of formula when he has baby food. He is 5 months old now. The pediatrician told me that he should have no more than 32 oz of formula a day. We increased the baby food and reduced the formula.
ReplyDeleteIt has to seperate formula's, one side is pink and the other is clear, but when you use it, they pour out together. You put it on the spot before washin', let it sit for a few mintues and then wash it.
ReplyDeleteI use Similac, but the prices are close. If you use regular instead of the sensitive formula it's 12.9 oz of powder for about 15 bucks. If you buy the Target brand it's around 9 dollars for the same amount!
